Martva Privacy Policy
Summary
Martva does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data. The app has no servers, no user accounts, no analytics, and no advertising, and it makes no network requests to any server of its own. Everything the app needs, including all questions and images, ships inside the app itself.
Data collection
We collect nothing. Martva contains no analytics SDKs, no crash-reporting services, no advertising frameworks, and no third-party tracking of any kind. The app never asks you to create an account and never asks for your name, email address, location, contacts, or any other personal information.
Data stored on your device
To make the app useful, Martva stores the following data locally on your device only:
- Your practice progress (which questions you have answered, and whether you answered correctly)
- Your exam history (results of practice exams you complete)
- Your bookmarked questions
- Your app preferences (language, theme, exam settings)
This data never leaves your device through the app. It is not uploaded anywhere, because the app has nothing to upload it to. Uninstalling the app deletes this data.
Android system backup
Like most Android apps, Martva participates in Android's standard system backup. If you have device backup enabled in your Android settings, Android may include the app's local data (your progress and preferences) in your device backup to your own Google account. This is a function of the Android operating system, controlled entirely by your device settings, and the data remains yours. Martva itself plays no part in it and cannot access those backups.
Network access
The app requests the standard Android INTERNET permission
because the underlying framework (React Native) includes it by
default. Martva's own code sends no personal data anywhere and
contacts no server of its own. Two kinds of activity can still reach
the network, neither of which shares your data:
- If you deliberately tap the developer's LinkedIn or email link in Settings, which opens your browser or email app.
- After you pass a practice exam, the app may ask Android's Google Play In-App Review service to show a rating prompt. This request is handled by Google Play on your device. Martva sends it no personal data and is not told whether or how you rate the app. The prompt appears at most once and only if Google Play decides to show it.
Children
Martva is a study aid for the Georgian driving theory exam and is intended for people preparing to obtain a driving license. It is not directed at children. In any case, the app collects no data from anyone, of any age.
Changes to this policy
If a future version of the app changes its data practices (for example, by adding optional crash reporting), this policy will be updated before that version is released, and the effective date above will change.
